Stop identifying with everything.
So many things demand our attention in these times. There are agendas at work to benefit corporations, movements, and people who desire power. While certain things may resonate with you, understand that there is no need to identify with everything advertised to you, every idea marketed to you, and every suggestion projected on to you. Know yourself enough to discern and be your own person.
Stop getting so offended.
The things outside of us are just that, outside of us. However, internalizing the things the people say, do, and are can lead us the a life on the defense. Learn to not be offended by everything. It isn't worth your energy to constantly be offended. Take your power back.
Separate your emotions.
While managing your emotional triggers can be quite the challenge, you'll find that your emotions do not belong in every situation. Whether you can build your emotional intelligence or not, you know that deep down inside, you should. Build enough self awareness to not be a slave to your emotions, to learn how to properly express what you're feeling, and to make decisions that are not based on temporary emotions.

Understand being set apart.
So many people feel the need to be included when they were born to stand out. You aren't always meant to blend in. Identify and understand your own uniqueness so that you don't seek to be defined and validated from others who do not understand your design. You were set apart for great things, so give in to your unique greatness.
Purge your personality of residue.
A lot of us have been taught for so long who we are "supposed" to be. The clutter of others' projections, limiting beliefs, and opinions can leave a heavy residue on our own personality. So much so, that we forget who we are. Take some time to discover who you are and aren't. Ask yourself what residue from other people and experiences have tainted the true essence of who you are.
