Let's face it! Between both genders, women are the ones who probably spend the most time prepping and stressing over their personal appearance. It's a given. So much is expected of a woman to be the walking epitome of perfection, and that's fine, we've accepted it. However, the only thing that causes the insecurities that a lot women often face is their attempt to fit some one else's vision of perfection and beauty. The first step in eliminating those insecurities would be to first recognize your own beauty, embrace it, and tend to it as it requires. A woman can begin by simply looking into the mirror daily and saying to herself "you're beautiful". Compliment yourself, find at least one thing that you love about yourself in the mirror daily, find ways to enhance and preserve your beauty, and you'll begin to develop that beauty and confidence you desire.
I Love You.
We often hear so many stories of women longing for love and looking for love in all of the wrong places. Sure, it's not just a woman thing; men do it too, however, our affection as women is one that differs significantly from males, whether we'd like to admit it or not. In order to avoid the emotional drama that far too many women find themselves in, it is imperative that we first begin to love ourselves. Tell yourself daily, "I Love You". Try "dating yourself" for a while, get to know yourself a little deeper, learn your own love language, find out what you truly and authentically love about yourself.
As women, we know that our femininity not only comes with physical expectations and demands, but also requires the emotional capacity to handle it all. In a changing society, women have taken on greater responsibilities, and of course are still expected to tend to families, maintain the household, and look good doing it! It's not always easy, and we don't always receive the recognition for it, but we shouldn't let that discourage us a bit. Tell yourself daily, "I'm Proud of You". Think of all of your accomplishments, big and small, and make note of them. Think of all that you make happen and endure on a daily basis that would be impossible without you. Treat yourself. Name one thing daily that makes you proud of you.
I Believe in You.
Even in modern times, being a woman can be both empowering and intimidating. Sure, the world has made way for us and our wildness, but it can often feel as though we have to work twice as hard to receive has as much as we are owed, and to prove ourselves and capablilities. Instead of screaming for the world to believe in us, it's more important for us to believe in ourselves. Tell yourself daily, "I Believe in You". Look in the mirror and say it. Never allow yourself to be limited. Acknowledge your advantage as a woman. Self belief is also a makes factor in confidence.
