Breathe. The best thing about taking a breather once in a while throughout your busy day is that at any time of the day, while doing any activity, we can take deep breaths to reconnect. Whether you're driving in the car, shuffling through papers, or on the computer getting tasks done, take a moment to take 3 deep breaths to relax and reconnect.
Put on Some Music and Cook a Meal. We all have to eat, and with a busy lifestyle, home - cooked, healthy meals are the perfect option to nourish the body. Allot time in your schedule for cooking. Fix one of your favorite meals and zone out. Put on some music and simply enjoy yourself.
Let Someone Else Do The Driving. With so many options today to catch a ride and look cool doing it, such as Uber and Lyft, you can always let someone else do the driving for you while you catch up on emails, finish a written task, or simply just relax and enjoy the ride.
Write it Out. One of the most effective methods I use for relaxation is writing. Take a moment to have a writing session that helps clear your mind, gather your thoughts, or sort out emotions. One way that I do this is by writing in my gratitude journal every morning. Click this link to learn how to create your own gratitude journal.
Do Some Light Cleaning. If you've taken my Spring Cleaning eCourse, then you know just how much of an effect physical clutter and untidiness can have on our mental and emotional bodies. Make light cleaning habitual. Take a half hour to sort through mail clutter, delete old emails, clean out your wallet or purse. You'll be thanking yourself later!
Activate Aromatherapy. If you work from home, light some candles, set an oil diffuser, light up some natural incense, or spritz some natural room spray around your home. Aromatherapy benefits include stress relief, congestion clearing, relief of mind and body tension, and even mood boosting!
Read Productively. It's always good to curl up in a good book, but it's even better to choose content that will enhance your skills, motivate you, Inspire your current work, and be informative to you.
Be Love,
