It's no secret: Duro Olowu has been one of my favorites in fashion design since he hit the scene with his vibrant, bold pattern-ladden, homage-to-Africa designs. The use of prints and textures coupled with traditional feminine silhouettes is just awe-inspiring, to say the least. His latest collection lives up to the hype of previous collections. Though sticking to his traditional style, the designer has taken things up a notch for Spring 2015 ready-to-wear. View the full Duro Olowu Spring 2015 Ready-To-Wear collection below.
The collection was inspire by Duro’s trip to Saint-Louis in Senegal 6 months ago where the European and African cultures found a common ground in fashion. He adopted his love for the beautiful place and interpreted it in his RTW collection
The collection features bold layering, elegant textiles, print-mixing, and over-exaggerated silhouettes. Peep the look book below.
